Location! Location! Location!
The Curry House is ideally located in the Old Town area of Key West, at
806 Fleming Street, between William and Margaret Streets... near enough to walk
to most places of interest, yet in a quieter, residential & guest house area.
We are only three blocks from the famous Duval Street, as well as three
blocks from the Historic Seaport District. Mallory Square, where many visitors
watch the sun set and the street performers, is just seven blocks away
(3 blocks West to Duval Street and then 4 blocks North on Duval).
If you're taking the ferry from the mainland, we're just four and a half blocks
from the terminal.

Parking
|
Because land is at such a premium on Key west, very few inns provide
off-street parking. The Curry House, along with the majority of inns
rely upon on-street parking for our guests. |
|
Because Fleming street is a single lane, one-way street, we have the
good fortune to have parking on both sides of the street. |
|
There are "Free" (unmarked) parking spaces intermixed with the residential
parking spaces which are painted with "RESIDENTIAL PARKING" on the pavement.
The "Free" parking spaces may be used by anyone, without a time limit. |
|
If a residential parking space is available near the Curry House
our guests will sometimes use it temporarily while they load or unload their
luggage. This has not been problematic in the past. |
|
If there are no ideally located spaces available near to the Curry House
there is a 15-minute "delivery truck" loading zone across the street that may
be used for loading and unloading. |
|
During the Season (January thru May), expect that you may have to walk
up to a block to find available (legal) parking. During the Summer months
there seems to be no difficulty at all. |
|
If parking is difficult to achieve on Fleming Street, try the cross
streets, William and Margaret. There are five (5) "Free" parking spaces
at the end of William Street on the south side of Fleming - very close
to the Curry House front door! |
|
For those guests that prefer to park in a garage, there is a city parking
garage at the corner of Grinnell and Caroline Streets (2 blocks down
Fleming Street to Grinnell, take a left and go 2 blocks). The cost is
approximately $10 per day. |
