The Pool

The pool by day

New in 2003, the heated pool is simply gorgeous. The original pool and systems, as well as the old wooden decking were completely replaced. The new patio is made of light-colored tiles which remain cooler on bare feet even in direct sunlight. Aside from the guest rooms, the pool is the favorite place of most guests.

All day, as the sun moves across the sky, the character of the pool area changes. One area in shade in the morning becomes warmed by the sun in the afternoon, while another becomes shady. There always seems to be that "perfect" place to sit.

At night, there is a totally different feel around the pool. The pool lights turn on automatically at dusk, creating a romantic glow everywhere you look. Small spotlights shine upwards toward the trees, and the lights in the pool invite you in.
