Common Areas

Main floor wrap-around porch sitting areas

Second floor wrap-around porch sitting areas
Not counting the pool and breakfast areas, there are no less than eight sitting
areas scattered around the Curry House. Rooms 1, 2, 7, and 8 have semi-private
verandas that overlook the pool and the tropical foliage. Rooms 3, 4, 5, and 6
all have private access to the first and second floor wrap-around porches.

The parlor
There are several common areas at the Curry House for the enjoyment of
all of the guests. The parlor is the central point of the home. It
is a wonderful area for sitting, visiting with other guests, and gathering
information for your Key West activities. There is an "office" built into a
closet, where the day-to-day business of a bed & breakfast is accomplished,
including checking guests in.

The new kitchen
One of the first major renovations that the new owners accomplished was the
kitchen. The result was an incredibly beautiful kitchen with more than
twice the storage as before. Although, for insurance reasons, guests are not
allowed to use the kitchen, it a pleasure to view over the
granite counter tops from the parlor, and a delight in which the staff cooks
the full country breakfasts.

The second floor hallway

Views up the stairs to the second and third floors
As you move around the Curry House you will be able to appreciate the
"Old Town Charm" of the home. Watch your head walking up the stairs to the
third floor! Notice the doors to Rooms 7 and 8, how the corners are cut to
accommodate the structure of the roof.
